Continue reading »]]> I’m a newbie just getting started with video editing. I got the “Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 Visual Effects Suite” that comes with hit film. My Panasonic HC-MDH2 camera records mts files, and they work fine in the Sony Vegas software, but when I bring them into the editor in hitfilm, slowa to a crawl. One click on the timeline and it may be 30 seconds before I can do anything again. If I make a composite and work with it, it’s not too bad, but in the editor, it’s unusable. I’ve been taking them into SonyVegas, saving ous as mp4 and then bringing them in and they work fine then. Any ideas on why HitFilm is so slow with mts files in the editor? I have loaded it on two machines and had the same issue on both.
