Because of the limitation of different codec, indeed we need the converting assistant. However, after searching on the web, have you found out the suitable ones? Or in other words, do you get the trouble like below?

‘Hello guys! I have a project that is edited in FINAL CUT PRO 7, ProRess(HQ). Turns out that (surprise!) I have to delivery everything in DNxHD 145. I tried to convert using Compressor, MPEG Stream and Final Cut with custom settings (I installed AVID and got the DNxHD codecs in FinalCut). All of these options messed with my chroma levels. Do you know of a good workflow for this problem?’

Such a common question that we have met before, right? But today here we will introduce you an advanced converting program called ProRes to DNxHD MOV Converter for Mac which can hold various video formats for different editors or players. For example, how to transcode FCP ProRes to DNxHD MOV for editing in Avid Media Composer? Just read the following guides:

Download here and load you files with ‘Add video’ or ‘Add from folder’, especially for Avid Media Composer? Maybe you can find this, ‘Avid Media Composer’>>’Avid DNxHD (*.mov).

Additional tips: Want to join several ProRes files into a large one after transcoding? Just check the “Merge into one file” check-box to set it.

Start converting ProRes 422 files to Avid DNxHD format by clicking on the “Convert” button. Once the ProRes to DNxHD conversion is completed, you could easily and fast get the Avid DNxHD files from its default output folder of this transcoding to DNxHD program.
